Felicia Donceanu
About the composer
Felicia Donceanu was born in 1931. She studied composition at the Conservatory of Bucharest. Apart from being a renowned composer, she also writes poetry and makes plastic art.
As a composer among her works we can find chamber music, choral music, music for children and classical songs.
Felicia Donceanu received several prizes for her compositions. Her music is poetic, as she is trying to extend the spell of poetry into the music.
