Franceso Saverio Giaj
About the composer
Franceso Saverio Giaj (1729-1801) probably lived a large part of his life in Turin, Italy. He met the young Mozart during his travels in Italy.
In 1764 he became master of the Capella Regio, the chapel of the Savoia family, a position he inherited from his father.
