As you probably know, our goal is to inform people worldwide about the diversity of Stabat Mater compositions, composers, music, CDs, texts, and translations through the Ultimate Stabat Mater Website. We primarily serve music lovers, musicians, choir directors, and composers who listen to or perform the Stabat Mater.
Our activities 2024-2026
Enhancing Website and Blog: We continue to add new Stabat Mater compositions, including those with audio or video recordings. We publish articles on our blog that are of interest to musicians, amateur choirs, conductors, composers, and music teachers.
Newsletter: We will continue sending our newsletter, which has proven effective in engaging visitors who have subscribed through the site.
Events: We plan to organize a Stabat Mater concert and introductory sessions with music in 2025-2026, intensifying our collaboration with Podia Heemstede.
Future-Proofing: We are preparing for a future scenario to ensure the website’s continuation in the public domain. By the end of 2025, we aim to have a detailed plan that can be implemented if necessary.
Enhancing the Ultimate Stabat Mater Website’s Platform: For 2024-2026, we’re developing a Forum function. This forum is a space for the Stabat Mater community to connect, share, and learn together. Here’s what you can do:
- Contribute Information: Help us keep the website updated by sharing new recordings, translations, or composers we might have missed.
- Ask Questions: Engage with fellow enthusiasts and experts.
- Share Experiences: Discuss performances you’ve attended or participated in.
- Showcase Your Work: Share your own Stabat Mater compositions.
- Announce Events: Let the community know about upcoming concerts or relevant events.
And last but not least:
Strengthening Financial Position: We aim to increase our capacity to generate funds and donations by expanding donation options, including the possibility of regular, periodic (yearly, monthly) donations.
The foundation strives for a positive net result in the coming years to build a healthy financial buffer that can sustain the Foundation for 3 to 5 years without donations. More than 90% of the foundation’s expenditures will directly contribute to the foundation’s objectives.
We rely on donations from individuals and organizations, both domestic and international, to fund our activities. Your support is crucial in helping us maintain and expand this unique cultural resource.
Join us in preserving and promoting the rich legacy of the Stabat Mater for future generations. Your donations make a significant difference in our ability to continue this important work.
P.S. Got ideas or suggestions? Let us know! We’re making this website together.
