The board of the Ultimate Stabat Mater Website foundation wishes to thank the Dutch foundation for Sacred Music for their generous donation . This made it possible to renew the Ultimate Stabat Mater Website. The predecessor of the foundation for Sacred Music, the Stabat Mater Foundation, organised Stabat Mater concerts from 1998 to 2018 every year two weeks before Easter.

The starting points for providing the financial support were better findability of the website in the Netherlands, and safeguarding the continued existence of the Ultimate Stabat Mater site in the future.
The website has been given a completely new look and now also has a Dutch section with an agenda of Stabat Mater performances in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Many CDs of the collection that Hans van der Velden started with in 1992 can now be listened to on the YouTube channel. This also applies to all the special concerts in Oirschot by the former Stabat Mater foundation. The website has been expanded with a Newsletter that interested parties can subscribe to. The site serves music lovers, musicians and composers worldwide.

For reasons of continuity, the Ultimate Stabat Mater Website foundation was established in 2020. Without the inspiring contacts with the foundation for Sacred Music, none of this would have been possible. Thanks again!
