Robert Hejnar
About the composer
Robert Hejnar was born in Olomouc in Czechia, in 1969. He studied piano at the Prague Conservatory, and composition with Professor Ivan Kurz in magisterial and doctoral degree courses at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Prague. Now he is a professor of composition studies at the Conservatory of the Evangelical Academy in Olomouc. He composed in various forms and genres (including vocal-symphonic like this Stabat Mater) but he is also a electro-acoustic composer.
