Every year, two weeks before Easter, the Stabat Mater Foundation organises three Stabat Mater concerts in St. Petrus church in Oirschot in the Netherlands:
Friday March 11th at 20.30 h
Saturday, March 12th at 17.00 h
Sunday, March 13th at 14.30 h

The following Stabat Maters will be performed:
Norbert Rousseau (1907 – 1975), Stabat Mater for mixed choir for six voices
Franz Ignaz Beck (1734-1809), Stabat Mater, mixed choir, orchestra, soloists

Orchestra: Mannheimer Hofkapelle
Choir: Ex Tempore
Conductor: Florian Heyerick
And five soloists

I am looking forward to this event, I always enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the people! Besides, I do not know the Flemish composer Norbert Rousseau. Maybe, in a few months, I can add Rousseau to my collection.
