The conductor Ruggero Luigi Pitton tells in the booklet: “I have sung to holy Mary for many years: now I have reached my deepest will: to sing Mary in her wonderful earth adventure, to tell her life that follows the one of her son. It is the story of the mother, based on sacred and religious texts, dressed by the harmonies of ancient and comtemporary composers…” Fré Thissen pointed me to this cd. Thank you very much!
